‘The Rotation’ to screen at Animasyros festival

Iranian short animation ‘The Rotation’ has been accepted into the Animasyros Festival in Greece.

The 13th edition of the event will be hosting Hazhir Asadi’s latest animated piece.

Other details of ‘The Rotation’ have not been released yet.

The new animation will also be screened at nine other film festivals in the US, Spain, South Korea and Colombia.

Hazhir Asadi’s previous experience ‘Blows with the Wind’ competed and won many awards and nominations at international film festivals.

Launched in 2008, Animasyros Festival is organized into three main pillars, the artistic program, the educational programs and the Market section, while there are also parallel activities such as exhibitions, concerts and parties.

The event aims at building and maintaining a creative meeting and networking hub of animation professional at a pan-European and international level.

Animasyros takes place annually in the capital of the Cyclades complex. This year’s edition of the festival, Animasyros 13, will launch on 23-27 September 2020.
